Cardamon and chocolate bread recipe



120 ml milk 

1 free range egg

350 gr flour 

100 gr granulated sugar

2 teaspoon active dry yeast

1teaspoon ground cardamon

1/2 teaspoon salt

50 gr butter

60 gr chocolate finely chopped




In a bowl combine flour, sugar, salt, cardamon, and dry yeast.

In a separate bowl mix the warm milk and egg.

Stir the dry ingredients with wet mixture, then add the butter a little by little..

Knead the dought with the mixer hook initially and then with the hand.over the table.

If the dought is too wet add a little bit of flour till it began a common bread ball.

Transfer the dough to a lightly buttered bowl, cover with clingfilm.

Live to rest at room temperature till the dough turn double in size.

Put in a loaf tin and cook at 190C for half an hour.
